Autoresponder Geeks Rating:
Signing up for Constant Contact is fairly easy, although getting it configured is a little more time consuming. You really should give yourself a hour or two of uninterrupted time to do it correctly. They do have a free 60 day trial, however if you are going to upload more than 50 email addresses you are going to give up the free trial period. I’d advise uploading a few test emails to while in set-up mode first.

I’ve used Constant Contact and I’ve gotten to like it. But they have a rule – you can only send a series of autoresponders to new subscribers. This is a huge problem. I believe it’s an improvement over their old rules, which – if I remember correctly – didn’t allow any autoresponders. Now that I know how to use it (I use it on behalf of a non-profit), I’d be happy to use it in my own business. But I’m not sure I want to commit to it if I can’t send autoresponders to existing contacts. If anyone knows if they’ve changed their policy, let me know! (I should really just call them and ask – I find it difficult to figure things out via the online help)
